A company in the water industry is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Burnley. The role involves supervising on-site teams for mechanical engineering works, fault finding, and ensuring safety practices. Applicants should have a background in mechanical engineering and a full driving license. Our client, are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to operate out of their Yorkshire/Lancashire depots. Our client predominantly works within the water industry on both waste and potable water. We specialise in carrying out mechanical engineering works on a number of assets, not limited to hydraulic systems, pipework, valves, wet well refurbishments, screw pumps, access platform installations, CSO installations and reservoirs. We specialise in working within confined spaces and regularly utilise rope access to carry out our works.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of a site based team, responsible for delivering a range of engineering works. You will be required to fault find, assist in developing the methodology for carrying out repairs or installations on site. Duties included within the role but not limited to are:
Our client is a reactive company and regularly undertakes emergency works for clients. The role involves a certain amount of flexibility and overtime / working away can be a regular requirement.
