A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Mechanical Estates Officer to manage and ensure compliance for mechanical building services across its facilities. The officer will oversee the maintenance of HVAC, medical gases, and other plant equipment. Ideal candidates will have experience in mechanical services and relevant qualifications, along with strong problem-solving abilities. The Mechanical Estates Officer will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and compliance of all mechanical building services across Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), hot and cold water systems, medical gases, drainage, and other associated plant and equipment. The role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring statutory compliance (including HTM and HBN guidance), managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, and delivering high‑quality estates support to clinical and non‑clinical services.
Manage, plan, and supervise mechanical maintenance and installation works across the Trust estate.
