Mechanical Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000 + Training + Overtime + Progression + Excellent Benefits + Hybrid working

York (Commutable from: Tockwith, Harrogate, Wetherby, Leeds, Tadcaster, Garforth)

Do you have Design, Project or Mechanical experience looking to join a nationally-renowned manufacturer where you will play a pivotal role in the development and introduction of equipment/machinery used by blue-chip clients?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this market leader where you will be given full product training to become a technical expert in their field whilst receiving great company benefits and progression opportunity into Senior posts.

The company is a leading manufacturer of architectures for the events industry. This company produces specialist products which are broadcasted on national TV on a day-to-day basis.

The role will be Monday - Friday days based out of their office/workshop working with a close-knit team of Engineers. You will be responsible for the design, project management and final commission of bespoke projects ranging in scale and funding.

This position would suit a Mechanical Engineer looking to work for a cash-rich and growing business where there are endless opportunities for progression and development whilst working on some large projects from cradle-to-grave.

The Role:

• Designing Steel / Timber structures.
• Working on bespoke projects for the events sector.
• Monday - Friday (7.30am - 4pm).

The Person:

• Design, Product, Project Engineer.
• Mechanical / Metals background.
• AutoDesk Inventor experience.
