Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Hands-on R&D / Product Development)
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 DoE (Multiple Openings Due to Continued Growth)

Are you a practically minded mechanical engineer who loves getting hands-on, welding, machining, fabricating, prototyping, and bringing real products to life?

We’re expanding our Product Development team atAccoraand looking for multipleMechanical Engineers (Hands-on R&D)to join us. This is real, ground-up engineering work, you’ll design, build, and refine full-scale prototypes and play a pivotal role in developing innovative new products that make a real-world impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate as part of a small, focused team dedicated tonew product development
  • Take product ideas from initial concept through tofunctioning prototypes, all built in-house
  • Design mechanical components, mechanisms, and assemblies usingSolidWorks
  • Physically buildand test your designs, you’ll be hands-on throughout the process
  • Work with a range of materials and use equipment like welders, CNC machines, mills, lathes, and fabrication tools
  • Supportpre-launch testing, compliance checks, and ongoing product improvements

Who We’re Looking For
We’re afterpractical mechanical engineers, people who love to get stuck in, build things, and solve real-world problems with their hands as much as their heads. If you're the kind of person who enjoys making ideas real, welding, fabricating, machining, prototyping, we want to hear from you.

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Stronghands-on mechanical ability- confident with hand tools and processes likewelding, fabrication, CNC machining, or general workshop prototyping
  • Solid understanding ofmechanical principles, assemblies, and mechanisms
  • Aproblem-solverwith a positive, can-do attitude and a team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in afast-paced R&D environment, building, testing, and iterating on real physical products

Bonus Skills (Or Willing to Learn - We’ll Support You):

  • Experience withmechanical linkages, complex assemblies, or moving mechanisms
  • Familiarity withsheet metal work, TIG/MIG welding, CNC setting/programming or general fabrication
  • SolidWorks experience, great. If not - we offer fullin-house trainingand support to get you up to speed

Other Requirements

  • Must beeligible to work in the UK(we’re unable to provide visa sponsorship)
  • Due to our site location, avalid UK driving licence and own transportare preferred
