Job summary

A machinery automation solutions provider in Greater London is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform product assembly and provide technical services. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in machine engineering, a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD, PRO/E, and SolidWorks. The role requires hands-on assembly skills and problem-solving abilities to ensure customer satisfaction. This position involves onsite work and effective communication with clients.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform product assembly for equipment and machines according to specifications on Automation Machinery at Customer Premises
• Prepare mechanical / assembly drawing and Bill of Materials (BOM) according to Customer Expectations
• Address any technical, budget or schedule problem as soon as it is been notice and ensure that it is resolve with satisfactory.
• Selection of automation components for Automated Machinery
• Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and motors.
• Presenting designs, agreeing time scales and specifications with customers.
• To provide technical service, maintenance work and trouble‑shouting for project as well as existing customers.
• Testing, evaluation, maintaining and modifying equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Evaluation support, installation and commissioning of new machine.
• To provide Machine Operation and Control training to customers at their premises
• Effective cost down (set up time reduction, cost effective, design etc).
• Liaise with overseas vendors/suppliers concerning technical matters.
• Writing reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess with at least a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years working experience in automation Design on Machine engineering field.
• Able to hand‑on assembling of Automation Machinery at Customer Premises
• Must know how to use and read AutoCAD、PRO/E，SolidWorks etc software and Animation in solidworks.
