A leading waste management company in Dartford is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation of equipment and systems at their recycling sites. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planned maintenance, corrective actions, and risk assessments. The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications like NVQ or HNC and experience in a manufacturing environment. Competitive salary of £52,900 per annum along with benefits including a pension plan and 23 days holiday are offered.

Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship or (NVQ Level 2 or 3) in an appropriate engineering discipline.

  • Experience working in a process, production, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, minimizing production downtime.
  • Complete dynamic risk assessments to uphold safe working practices.

Mechanical Maintenance EngineerLocation: DartfordPattern: 4 on / 4 off – 7am to 7pm

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join ourSIM poster? a leading waste management company serving both domestic and international partners. In بينما role, you will play a key part in maintaining the smooth operation, reliability and ongoing improvement of plant and equipment across their waste processing and recycling sites. Your expertise will help ensure that critical systems run efficiently, supporting sustainable waste management solutions and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability
  • Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, minimising production downtime
  • Modify and improve plant and equipment to maximise availability and performance
  • Complete dynamic risk assessments to uphold safe working practices
  • Maintain accurate shift paperworkന്ദ, condition reports, and documentation in line with the maintenance strategy
Qualifications & Experience
  • Completed apprenticeship or (NVQ Level 2 or 3) in an appropriate engineering discipline
  • HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Experience working in a process, production, or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems, their purpose and functionality
  • Understanding of electrical systems Ник safety standards
