A leading defence company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Cowes to provide technical support and develop designs for radar products. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have experience in the defence or marine industry. Engaging with different engineering disciplines and competencies within the local project and BAE Systems more broadly. Undertaking continuous personal development as required in order to build own skill, knowledge and competence in a range of business situations. Supporting the development of other early careers engineers within the discipline.
As you engage with engineering functions across the business, our team covers the whole engineering lifecycle using the latest cutting-edge technology. Becoming a member of the Mechanical Engineering Radar team will provide you with significant exposure inside the larger BAE Systems organisation. BAE Systems Naval Radar provides Radar products and support services to a diverse range of customers worldwide. This role will provide engineering management support as part of a team delivering capability upgrades to the Royal Navy over the next 10 years.
