A leading water and wastewater company in Oxford is looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing machinery in a clean water division, ensuring minimal downtime. Candidates should have relevant electrical qualifications and mechanical upskilling is preferred. The base salary is up to £45,000, with potential for additional earnings through standby and overtime. We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team in our clean water Division to be based out of our Farmoor - Oxford - Water Treatment Works.
As a successful candidate, you will using your mechanical & electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate, mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe efficient timely and effective manner with minimum supervision allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefits of our customers.

38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. Plus, standby & overtime opportunities increase earnings by a potential £8,000 - £10,000.
You must have previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering, with an upskill in mechanical NVQ2/3 is crucial.
