The ideal candidate will have significant electrical experience, an apprenticeship, and ideally mechanical skills. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join our team at our Camberley Sewage Treatment Works, GU15 3YL.
As the successful candidate, you will ensure that all equipment at our sewage treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
Working within the maintenance team, you will follow robust planned maintenance, getting involved in minor installation projects, electrical fault finding, and emergency breakdown repairs to ensure our plant operates all year round.
Base Location: Camberley STW - GU15 3YL.
Working Pattern 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. Plus, standby & overtime opportunities increase earnings by a potential £8,000 - £10,000.
All PPE and tools are provided.
You must have previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering, with an upskill in mechanical NVQ2/3 is crucial.
