MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (WATER SECTOR) - MANCHESTER - CONTRACT OR PERMANENT - £45,000 - £65,000 OR £300 - £400 PER DAY

Responsibilities and requirements
  • You will be a degree-educated engineer with experience of working within the water sector as a design engineer. This will include clean water, wastewater and wet infrastructure design.
  • You will possess a strong knowledge and experience in design drawing practices.
  • You will have experience in hydraulic design.
About the role

Our client is working with the water companies and your role will be to provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements. Produce design calculations and drawings for the water industry. Prepare scopes for and check the output of subcontract M&E design teams.

Location and contract details

This position is based in Manchester and is a full-time role, working hybrid.

The salary for the permanent option is between £45,000 and £65,000 and will be dependent on your experience and suitability. The contract position is between £300 and £400 per day (deemed outside of IR35) and the contract is ongoing.
