You will design and adapt products, enhancing market share and managing the complete product lifecycle. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in precision mechanical design, 3D CAD tools like SolidWorks, and excellent communication abilities. An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys a diverse role supporting mechanical design and supporting bespoke projects within a motivated, team-based design and development environment.
The company offer a range of often bespoke solutions and a such as their Mechanical Engineer, you will support:
Bespoke projects – adapting and changing designs to meet specific product requirements
Supporting the development of their next-generation products.
As such you will design and re-engineer products, supporting the complete product lifecycle from concept to commercial product, identifying ways to improve market share minimise costs, and expanding the scope of applications.
You will work on a number of concurrent projects and be pivotal in working and bridging the gap between design and production to ensure products can be transitioned seamlessly into production. This will involve interaction across the business.
