Qualifications

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced, mid or Senior level Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary, respected and well–established consultancy. This role is based in Peterborough and offers excellent opportunities to assist with developments across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services including HVAC, ventilation, fire suppression and air conditioning systems.
• Work closely with clients and design teams to ensure compliance from concept to completion.
• Mentor junior engineers and bring technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands–on approach to every task.

Qualifications and Experience

• HNC, ONC or Degree level
• SBEM, AUTOCAD, REVIT or Hevacomp experience
• Sustainability Sector experience
• Chartered Mechanical Engineer or working towards
• MEP Building services related design experience

General Expectations

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be expected to demonstrate sound health and safety practices, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on a day–to–day basis.
