Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services | Location: Hybrid / Bromsgrove | Type: Full-Time, Permanent | Working Pattern: Primarily office-based (flexibility for up to 2 days WFH) | Salary: Competitive or Company Car + 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in Building Services to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong HVAC design background and proven experience in office fit-out projects. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mechanical designs and ensuring compliance through thorough validation reporting.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of HVAC systems for building services projects, primarily office fit-outs
• Production and review of validation reports
• Use of AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate technical drawings and designs
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Supporting project delivery from concept to completion

Requirements

• Proven experience in Building Services as a Mechanical Design Engineer
• Strong HVAC knowledge and experience
• Experience working on office fit-out projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Ability to produce and review technical reports
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
