Job Type: Contract to Hire

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Job Summary:

Join a company at the forefront of commercial and industrial maintenance solutions, producing a wide range of high-performance cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, vacuums, floor machines, burnishers, extractors, and sweepers. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for building equipment to precise specifications, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. This hands-on role involves the use of various hand, air, and power tools, and requires a mechanically inclined individual with experience in mechanical assembly or equipment repair. You'll play a key part in delivering durable and efficient products to support today’s cleaning industry.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assemble products according to specifications (documentation, prints, bills of material, etc.)

2. Examine parts being used on assemblies and reject if unacceptable.

3. Verify assemblies as they are built to insure they pass workmanship and quality expectations.

4. Assist Line Foreman as needed.

5. Maintain material move tickets, inspection data, in-process tags, reject tags, rework orders, etc.

6. Train on how to use the computer system to print material move tickets as needed.

7. Follow all rules, policies and safety procedures as established by the company.

Experience, Education and Skills Needed:

  • Mechanically inclined; must be able to use a variety of hand air and power tools.

  • 1 Year related work experience or educational equivalent in either mechanical assembly or as an auto/truck heavy equipment mechanic.

  • Familiarity with engines and hydraulics a plus

  • Ability to read prints

  • General computer skills in a windows environment

  • Detail oriented

  • Willingness to learn new skills, safety conscious, good work habits

  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds. Anything over 50lbs with assistance.
