Hourly Rate: £30 - £60 per hour

Location: Redbridge

Smart Teachers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maths Tutor to deliver high-quality on-site tuition at a large, high-performing secondary academy in East London. This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking to support targeted intervention, small-group tuition, and catch-up Maths provision from January.

The Role
  • Delivering small-group and 1:1 Maths tuition sessions across KS3 KS4
  • Focusing on GCSE preparation, and curriculum reinforcement
  • Working on school premises during the school day (no remote tutoring)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive sessions to boost pupil progress
  • Liaising with teaching staff and support teams to ensure continuity and consistency

This academy is a well-resourced East London secondary known for its strong behaviour culture and supportive leadership team. Tuition takes place in dedicated intervention spaces, with excellent support from the Maths department.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) applications from non-qualified tutors cannot be considered
