Position: Math teacher
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: Full time, Part time, Term time
Salary Details: Up to £43,680 per annum DOE
Overview

Cambian Northampton School is an independent specialist provision that provides quality and personalised education for young people ranging from ages 11 to 16 with on-going social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

A successful candidate should have
  • Suitable education qualifications such as QTS, a teaching degree or degree and PGCE.
  • Successful experience of implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education that challenges students to reach meaningful outcomes for increased independence.
  • Knowledge of current curriculum developments.
  • Knowledge of child and adults safeguarding procedures.
  • Understanding of the principles of good curriculum provision.

  • A commitment to working in an inclusive setting.
  • An awareness, understanding and commitment to equal opportunities.
  • A working knowledge of SEN, particularly with reference to SEMH.
