The Role:

As the Material Operations Manager, you will take ownership of material availability, production scheduling, and supply chain performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of manufacturing operations. You will lead and develop the materials and logistics teams while implementing best‑practice planning processes and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all material planning, scheduling, and logistics activities
• Manage and optimise MRP, inventory control, and production schedules
• Drive an effective and structured SIOP process
• Improve supply chain performance, material flow, and delivery reliability
• Collaborate closely with production, procurement, engineering, and quality departments
• Implement KPIs, planning tools, and standard work to enhance operational performance
• Develop and mentor the materials and logistics team
• Support strategic projects focused on efficiency, cost control, and customer delivery

About You:

• Strong background in master scheduling, materials management, or planning management
• Demonstrated experience in SIOP/SOP within a manufacturing environment
• Aerospace, defence, or automotive experience is highly desirable
