We need you!!If you love being a vehicle technician but you’re thinking “I fancy a change”, “I want more variety” or “I want better hours”, then we may just have exactly what you’re looking for!You’ve probably seen some of our number vehicles driving around depot location, including our shiny new vehicles, transporting our fantastic customers in number million journeys across East Midlands every year.Those customers rely on our services to get them to work, to the high street, to hospitals, to days away and nights out – and as part of our engineering team you’ll be a key part in making sure our vehicles are in tip top condition to do just that. It’s a really important role within our depot, so we’ll make sure you’re as looked after as our vehicles are!You’ll have the responsibility of maintaining and repairing our fleet of 31 buses in Gainsborough, part of the near 500 we operate across the East Midlands. Vehicles range from bus to coach and include Dennis, Volvo and Scania.Don’t worry if you’ve not worked on these vehicles before (or indeed buses) – we’ll train you on everything you need to know, and you’ll be supported by a great team of Fitters, fellow Technicians, Electricians and Engineering Managers who all pull together to do a brilliant job.And it’s not all depot-based work. You don’t have to come from a bus background (but we wouldn’t be put off if you did either!), but you will need to have worked in a engineering technician field – truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm – if it moves, it’s good experience for working on buses!Training and qualifications required:

• PCV or HGV City and Guilds
• BTEC
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV

You will be contracted to 38.5 hours per week ranging from Monday - Saturday, no Sundays or Bank holidays worked.
