What you’ll be doing

We’re working with a professional services firm to find a strategic and hands-on Marketing Operations Manager / Digital Operations Manager. This newly created role sits at the heart of a growing marketing function, focused on improving performance, streamlining processes and enabling smarter ways of working. You’ll be a key player in shaping how marketing operates across the business.

  • As Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll lead the charge on operational excellence across the marketing team. You’ll manage reporting, data strategy, and campaign performance tracking, helping the team make better decisions and deliver more impact.
  • You’ll develop dashboards and reporting tools using platforms like Power BI and Looker Studio, working closely with IT and transformation teams. You’ll also coordinate lead generation follow-ups, manage the marketing activity calendar, and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  • CRM and data utilisation will be a big part of your remit. You’ll work with internal stakeholders to optimise contact data, support CRM evolution, and ensure marketing planning is underpinned by clean, compliant data.
  • You’ll also play a key role in Martech strategy, identifying opportunities to improve quality, automate processes and adopt new tools (including AI). Budget management, process design, and team capability tracking will also fall under your remit.
What experience you’ll need to apply
  • Experience in a marketing operations role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology, CRM systems and data strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Looker Studio is highly desirable. You\'ll been able to lean on the IT team for support, but ideally you\'ll have hands on experience too.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised with strong project management capabilities.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance and Transformation.
  • Experience with AI tools and automation is a plus.
  • Professional services experience is helpful but not essential.
