Marketing Operations Manager – European Marketing
As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the European Marketing team, ensuring a robust control environment that aligns with our marketing strategy. Your mission is to enable the marketing team to operate efficiently and effectively while meeting risk standards and regulatory objectives. This role is all about building strong foundations for marketing success.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the marketing budget: set guardrails, support budget holders, and maintain strong relationships with Finance.
- Provide data and analytics to inform decision‑making and assess strategic direction (e.g., Share of Voice, leadership analysis).
- Collate UK and European team results into a cohesive narrative for leadership.
- Maintain and update OKR dashboards monthly, adding context and highlighting gaps; ensure alignment with global teams.
- Drive planning processes using technology (e.g., Workfront), collaborating with Head of Marketing Planning and the Marketing Enablement leads to ensure capacity and delivery.
Governance & Operations – Technology, Risk & Readiness
- Own and maintain documented process materials, ensuring updates are managed and communicated via Confluence (including build out in Confluence).
- Support business control activities: investigate risk events, coordinate risk documentation in Archer, and optimise processes.
- Lead business continuity planning and other operational readiness initiatives.
- Represent marketing in change projects (regulatory, technology), ensuring updates are reflected in processes and communicated to teams.
- Provide operational guidance for engaging with enterprise supply management, empowering marketing teams with clear processes.
Team & Leadership Engagement
- Join monthly leadership meetings to share updates on budget, OKRs, operations, and planning.
- Work with the Head of Strategic Planning to ensure key topics are raised and managed on MMT agenda, supporting coordination and management.
- Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Planning and Marketing Assistant to manage all crew weekly/monthly/annual sessions and develop collaborative information sessions, ways of working, training programmes, and crew development initiatives.
- Manage a calendar of key events and deadlines for leadership, highlighting risks and gaps.
Additional ad hoc responsibilities may be required as part of the role.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of working within Asset Management.
- Strong technology skills, ideally with experience in Workfront, Confluence, MS Office, and AI tools (or a willingness to learn).
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with the ability to embrace new projects and technologies.
- Comfortable working with data and providing analysis to support decision‑making and budget tracking.
- Highly organised and process‑driven.
- Excellent communication skills.
