Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Marketing Design Manager to lead a team over a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you will shape the creative direction for various campaigns and oversee the design process from concept to execution. Applicants should have strong design skills, experience in managing a team, and a detailed portfolio showing a proven commercial record. Flexibility for UK travel may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from concept to sign-off.
  • Manage the pipeline of design projects and tasks.
  • Ensure all work meets brand standards with flair and pace.
  • Understand customer and commercial objectives when responding to briefs.
  • Keep up-to-date with design trends (online and offline).
  • Manage multiple briefs and communicate progress effectively.
  • Mentor and support the design team.
  • Oversee production and distribution of print and digital collateral.
  • Liaise with suppliers and freelancers when required.
  • Maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Manage software, billing, and quotes.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by senior leadership.

Skills

Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva & After Effects
Strong written English and communication skills
Proven creative track record
Experience with social media and email marketing campaigns
Project management system knowledge

This is your chance to shape the creative direction of campaigns, social media content, signage, and property marketing – bringing bold ideas to life and making a lasting impression. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of a student-facing brand, overseeing the creation of inspiring and engaging designs across multiple online and offline channels. Leading a talented team, you’ll manage projects, nurture creativity, and support career progression.
