Qualifications

Job description

Geldards LLP is a leading regional law firm with offices in Cardiff, Derby, Nottingham and London. We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to support the delivery and outputs of the wider marketing team in coordinating and managing the wide range of marketing administrative tasks required in a busy professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

This role will suit an individual who is well organised and able to juggle a wide variety of tasks whilst maintaining an eye for detail. An ability to prioritise and manage expectations is critical. The ideal candidate will enjoy undertaking a wide variety of tasks where no two days are the same and be flexible enough to embrace new tasks and challenges when they arrive. Customer centric with a friendly but professional manner and a sense of humour are essential. It’s busy but fun!

  • Event coordination and support including webinar coordination.
  • Campaign delivery including eshot coordination.
  • Database management.
  • Managing website enquiries.
  • Photography organisation and coordination.
  • Brand & branded merchandise coordination (print, design & event support).
  • Web & social media support.
  • Other marketing related activities arising from operational activity.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience of working in a busy marketing team is preferred but not essential.
  • Event planning and coordination is important.
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment, ideally in legal services, is preferred but not essential.
  • Self-motivated, organised, a team-player and the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and a customer friendly manner is critical.
  • A strong interest in a wide range of marketing outputs including event coordination, design & print, web and social media.
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail (including proofreading ability).
  • Excellent written English.
  • Strong MS Word skills. Word, PowerPoint and Excel experience are essential.
  • Some experience in supporting technology and platforms is desirable, including Wordpress, Mailchimp, Canva, InDesign, Hootsuite, Social Channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.), Trello, Databases etc. Training on systems used will be provided.
