Do you have a degree in chemistry or any correlated areas, such as pharmaceutical or biology, and is willing to focus your knowledge in a more commercial segment working in a marketing role for support local team and business growth within the region?

Peak Scientific, a fast-growing organization specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, is looking to recruit a marketing assistant to join our vibrant team in Brazil.

We are an award-winning company with our headquarters in Scotland. We have a very strong reputation in the marketplace with plans to grow significantly over the next few years. We export 90% of our sales to approximately 126 countries. We have an expanding operation in LATAM with offices in São Paulo and Mexico. Individuals who fit our culture and values will have a high degree of professionalism but appreciate our non-corporate feel in a fun atmosphere.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, LATAM, the candidate will be responsible for supporting marketing activities in Brazil office, according with and under the direction of regional sales strategy and global marketing strategy. Supporting marketing and sales team, to increase lead generation and higher levels of brand awareness from marketing expenditure. Possibility to grow in the company and expand acting to LATAM territory, supporting not only local teams (Brazil and Mexico office) as well distributors across the region.

Having a degree in chemistry or correlated area, such as pharmaceutical, biology is mandatory.

Ideally, if you will have knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory applications related to our market/customers, such as LCMS, GC and GCMS or will have marketing experience in a B2B technology manufacturing business is a great advantage.

Key Duties include:

  • Supporting marketing manager to better define local specific marketing needs, objectives and suggest effective tactics to achieve this.
  • Supporting global marketing team for collateral delivery and brand/logistical support.
  • Supporting the creation of educational material and sales-aids for local sales team and resellers channel as required
  • Supporting preparation regarding LATAM marketing budget for exhibitions
  • Supporting and working closely with Brazil Inside Sales team to develop improved outcomes from lead qualifying and lead generation
  • Working collaboratively with both HQ marketing team and Brazil marketing manager to adapt marketing collateral and messaging to best suit regional need and maximize impact
  • Supporting of documents translation and creating documents to support our local strategy in Brazilian market
  • Updating and controlling installed base information based on information received internally and through corporate route
  • Performing day to day administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities as well as supporting other departments in Brazil

You will also possess:

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good organization and dynamic with a customer-oriented approach
  • Copywriting and proof-reading skills as desirable, but not mandatory
  • Well organized and ability to support complex events involving people and material logistics
  • Creative thinker and problem solver with high degree of initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Familiarity and competency with Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • Good knowledge and understanding of English and Spanish languages, with the possibility to growth in the company with possible expansion of territory coverage
  • Mandatory degree in chemistry or correlated area, such as pharmaceutical, biology
