Responsibilities
  • Developing the overall branding and marketing strategies for ADH and the SEHA group facilities
  • Developing the brand positioning of ADH for Senior Mangement and Board approval
  • Developing ADH annual marketing strategies/plans for the organization and submitting it for the approval to senior management
  • Coordinating marketing strategies across ADH HealthSystem to improve brand identity and raise awareness about the company
  • Aligning and implementing the branding and marketing plan of ADH that alighted with SEHA corporate marketing
  • Providing marketing and branding expertise to senior management across the organization
  • Establishing and maintaining a consistent brand image throughout all promotional material and events
  • Directing and overseeing promotional plans for SEHA corporate and group facilities where overall corporate image or brand is displayed or marketed
  • Directing and overseeing the marketing and communication strategy to meet academic and clinical objectives
  • Directing and overseeing the advertising and media plan

Managing the marketing department
  • Managing the marketing department and advises and consents to all marketing related activities for corporate and SEHA HealthSystem facilities under the SEHA brand
  • Developing and managing a cost-effective, appropriate marketing budget and ensuring delivery of all marketing activities within the approved budget
  • Reviewing and approving subordinate budget inquiries when required
  • Managing and overseeing ADH Marketing Units and all related activities and ensuring compliance with SEHA Policies and the SEHA Corporate Governance Framework
  • Directing and overseeing the delivery of SEHA corporate and group facilities paper-based and electronic messages and promotional materials, including all the material presented on the corporate internet and intranet sites, messaging in facility collateral and web-based marketing
  • Directing the overall administration of the marketing department and the services provided
  • Monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery process and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Delegating and supervising marketing departmental work, assigning priorities and evaluating performance of subordinates
  • Recommending necessary trainings to correct deficiencies for the marketing department
  • Planning, organizing and co-ordinating project related events, exhibitions, campaigns / event management, advertising, promotional activities, sponsorship and marketing research
  • Directing and overseeing the production of marketing collateral and other communication material for marketing and customer attraction
  • Directing and overseeing event agendas and confirming that all services and necessary preparations are in order; supervising, directing and co-ordinating the activities of personnel, subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully execute events
Market research
  • Gathering data for marketing use (including content to use in leaflets, brochures, promotional items, posters and flyers, etc.) analyzing and validating data, interviewing staff for ideas and surveying external and internal stakeholders for feedback
  • Identifying market needs by conducting market research activities in order to understand customer needs, priorities and trends
Advising and consent on SEHA HealthSystem marketing activities
  • Collaborating with senior management and marketing staff at the facility in the development of possible facility name changes, accompanying signage standards for facilities and advising and providing consent on the development process and resultant changes to SEHA corporate and SEHA HealthSystem facility logos in consultation with SEHA executive leadership
  • Identifying and establishing an appropriate community engagement program with Al Dhafra community
  • Developing key corporate communications within Al Ain (including special events, brochures, website and other mediums in strategically important areas)
Public Relations
  • Overseeing the preparation of responses to press inquiries (English / Arabic) about ADH activities, published plans, controversies and marketing efforts in collaboration with senior managements and approving all interviews with media
  • Approving all public relations activities and reviewing for approval all external communications to the appropriate delegate in accordance with the SEHA Corporate Governance Framework
  • Facilitating relationships with media representatives in the UAE and GCC markets in accordance with SEHA Policies and Procedures
  • Communicating the SEHA brand to UAE audiences to ensure that position and brand strength are understood by all UAE clients/customers/patients
  • Facilitating coordination with media organizations to create awareness about the ADH corporate and group facilities and promoting the facility's mission, clinical programs, staff and events
  • Approving ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations and other public relations activities that promote awareness of facility
  • Representing facility to the press and public where required (exhibitions, road shows, interview programs) in an ethical manner
Expenditure management
  • Managing the expenses for each event, ensuring the budget is deployed properly using internal and external resources, analyzing the return-on-investment for marketing activities in general
Reporting
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports to senior management on marketing plans/activities, exhibition/events-results/Return on Investments, improvement areas, successes, etc.
Supporting Business and Commercial Growth
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with hospital revenue and growth objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize for ROI and patient acquisition
  • Work closely with clinical departments, operations, and finance to align marketing efforts with service delivery and revenue goals
  • Monitor KPIs including patient footfall, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness
Developing relationships
  • Collaborating with and providing marketing and public relations guidance to all senior management and all concerned staff
  • Serving as a liaison with outside agencies on all approved marketing activities including promotional items/material, sponsorship, campaigns/events, etc. Identifying strategic marketing relationships with outside vendors, opinion makers and facility leadership
Adherence to best practices and quality
  • Maintaining awareness of best practice and industry standards in the different functional areas and guiding the department towards these benchmarks
  • Ensuring that the professional and ethical standards are maintained and that all staff are compliant with relevant policies and procedures
People management
  • Directing and overseeing the day to day activities of the department; streamlining processes wherever possible
  • Evaluating workload, conducting performance evaluations and initiating reward, recognition and career guidance along with necessary disciplinary actions as appropriate
  • Reviewing the training requirements of the team and communicating those requirement to the training department
  • Providing practical training and education across such areas as: conflict resolution, grievance handling, performance management and negotiation
  • Providing on the job training and orientation to the marketing team during course of work
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant field; 8-10 years of relevant experience in a similar industry of which minimum 5 years progressive leadership responsibility in a large organization
