A Day in the Life of an Ipsos Field Market Research Interviewer

Imagine starting a scheduled 6-hour shift (typically around 1–2 pm) as a Field Market Research Interviewer. You’ll work one of three pre-booked shifts for the week, with hours that span weekdays and weekends between 9 am and 8 pm. Your role involves going door-to-door to invite people to participate in surveys, recording responses on a company-provided tablet, and helping businesses and organizations make decisions that impact the community. Training is provided to build confidence in approaching people, even if they weren’t expecting a visit. Mileage reimbursement is available for your travels.

You’ll need a car, business insurance, and a valid driver’s license to perform this role.

Responsibilities
  • Go door-to-door to invite people to participate in surveys and record responses on a tablet.
  • Complete scheduled 6-hour shifts (with options to book multiple shifts per week).
  • Receive training to feel confident approaching people and conducting interviews.
  • Utilize mileage reimbursement for travel between surveys.
