A leading engineering firm in Aberdeen City is seeking a Marine Engineer to diagnose and repair Caterpillar and MAK engines. The role involves onsite service and repair, requiring hands-on expertise in marine engines and systems. Company: Finning (UK) Ltd Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: As a Marine Engineer, you will respond to customer’s Marine repair and service requests. You will be responsible for diagnosing and providing comprehensive details about the nature of the problem to both the customer and Finning to create a quote as per the request of the customer within a cost and time-effective manner.
Working within Finning’s industry-leading field service department, and for the largest CAT dealer in the UK and Ireland, you will be at the forefront of the company's site diagnostic and repair capabilities for Caterpillar / MAK products.
Your role will be to execute the maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning (as the case may be) of Caterpillar / MAK engines, packages and systems installed in vessels.
