Qualifications

• Minimum HNC qualification or equivalent experience in relevant field.
• Strong design skills and experience with relevant design tools.
• Understanding of engineering disciplines in Ship Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design structural and outfit arrangements using CAD packages.
• Prepare manufacturing and installation packages according to specifications.
• Liaise with Production to resolve design queries.

Skills

Design tools experience (AutoCad, Inventor, Foran)

Experience in Structures and / or Outfit design

Ideally experience with ship repair

Detailed understanding of design concepts

Knowledge in marine industry

Education

HNC or equivalent in a STEM discipline
