Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading Automation in their search for a Manufacturing Supervisor to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Manufacturing Supervisor our client is offering:

• Competitive annual salary paying up to £39,000 - (£18.75 per hour) Depending on experience
• Days based role 7:45am - 5pm with a 12:45pm finish on Fridays or 8:45am - 5pm Monday to Friday

The Role - Manufacturing Supervisor:

• Responsible for leading & motivating a team of typically 5/6 staff, which compromises of Mechanical/Electrical Fitters
• Allocating workload out to staff
• Reporting progress of projects into the Manufacturing Manager on a regular basis
• Carrying out meetings with the team on a daily basis
• Liaising with other areas of the Business (IE Purchasing) ensuring sufficient materials are available for builds
• Planning the workload carefully ensuring you're able to achieve targets
• Continuous improvement
• Mentoring staff
• Involved in relevant disciplinary procedures if necessary
• Travelling to customers worldwide to oversee staff installing the companies products - Occasionally (Typically can be up to 2-3 times a year for around 2 weeks at a time)
• Being hands on and involved in the building/installation of Projects
• Using hand & power tools

What our client is looking for in a Manufacturing Supervisor:

• Our client is looking for somebody who possesses Mechanical/Electrical experience in a Supervisory capacity
• You must be qualified either Electrically or Mechanically - ESSENTIAL
• This role does involve being HANDS ON so you will be involved in the builds with the team
• Strong communication skills
• Able to lead & Motivate a team
• Able to work away and oversee projects - ESSENTIAL
• Full UK Licence - ESSENTIAL
