Overview
Manufacturing Quality Assistant – Thorne
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Saturdays will be required when busy).
Shift pattern: Week 1 06:00 – 14:30; Week 2 14:30 – 23:00
Salary: £12.77 + Bonus + overtime
Responsibilities
- As a quality assistant, you will support customer and supplier problem resolution with our clients manufacturing processes and help quality improvements.
- Primarily supporting the Quality Inspector or Co-ordinator by providing them with data and results from product or process measurements.
- Supporting in resolving issues within the manufacturing processes.
- Supporting goods in-supplier assessment and resolving customer complaints.
- Assisting in supporting site calibration and document control.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quality environment.
- NVQ level 2 in manufacturing would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Computer skills including Word and Excel.
- Self-motivated and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
