Manufacturing Operator

Location – Templecombe

Hours – 4 day week, Monday–Thursday

Our Opportunity

Due to demand, we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operator to join our Maritime Mission Systems business unit in Templecombe.

You will be responsible for building electrical and mechanical assembly operations as well as the following key tasks:

  • Following manufacturing instructions such as routings, wiring schedules and drawings.
  • Identifying logs faults.
  • Maintaining any necessary documentation as part of the build process.
  • Ensuring production equipment and tools are used and maintained to the required workshop standards.

Security Clearance

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; however, if not currently held, the successful applicant will need to undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UK Security Vetting website for guidance. To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years (in some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years may be accepted with additional overseas checks).

Thales requires candidates to provide evidence of identity and eligibility to work in the UK, and employment/education history up to three years. Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance.
