Job summary

A reputable engineering firm in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to manage the integration of new equipment into the manufacturing process. This role requires proven experience in equipment integration and a strong engineering background. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure minimal disruption during transitions while optimizing performance and ensuring compliance with EHS standards. The salary ranges from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in equipment integration, NPI, or process engineering.
  • Strong understanding of EHS regulations and machine safety standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with mechanical, electrical, software teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of test plans to verify functionality and equipment reliability.
  • Own the integration of new equipment and manage ramp-up phases.
  • Develop 'center lining' of equipment to optimize performance.
  • Coordinate handover to other departments for smooth production ramp-up.
  • Ensure training plans for staff on new equipment are completed.
