Manufacturing Engineer – Norfolk

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and automated test equipment
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimise manufacturing processes
  • Evaluate new and existing production lines to identify improvements to manufacturing processes, analytical requirements, and equipment; advise appropriate engineering personnel on manufacturability, process robustness, and equipment requirements
  • Ensure the smooth transition of new products into manufacturing (NPI)
  • Document software architecture, code, and system configurations
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / HND / Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related industry qualification
  • Experience in production engineering
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering relating to Electronics, Software, and Automation
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems
