A leading precision component manufacturer in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. The candidate will improve and optimize manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance in a regulated industry. Responsibilities include investigating non-conformities and creating SOPs. Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Manufacturing Engineer role focused on process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and/or machining processes.
• Experience in highly regulated industries.

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who has worked within a highly regulated industry? We are working with a leading precision component manufacturer who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate, develop and optimise processes and methods of manufacturer. The successful candidate will have knowledge of fabrication and / or machining processes.

Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm, Friday 7am – 12pm

Job Description

Develop, create and improve manufacturing processes to meet production requirements.

Investigate root cause of non-conforming parts and ensure corrective action is carried out and preventative action has been implemented.

Support throughput of production and NPI work

Creation and maintenance of SOPs in support of manufacturing and production activities.

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

Accomplished working within a similar Manufacturing Engineer role, improving processes and methods of manufacturer

Knowledge and experience of fabrication and / or machining

Well versed dealing working within a highly regulated industry
