Job description

As a Manufacturing Data Administrator, you will be an essential part of our manufacturing division, helping to ensure the EMEIA Manufacturing office team runs efficiently and effectively. This entry‑level position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in computing, data, and systems. If you have solid IT capabilities and advanced Excel skills, we’d love to support your growth and development in this role. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining accurate data within our CRM and ERP systems, collaborating with the Sales team to manage quote opportunities, and creating technical part numbers with a high level of accuracy. Please note that this is an office‑based role and does not involve work on the manufacturing shop floor.

Responsibilities
  • Work on manufacturing projects, including data management and analysis using Excel.
  • Collaborate closely within the CRM, reducing late quotes by driving effective follow‑ups with the Sales team.
  • Manage ERP‑related tasks, including part number entry, project entry, and serving as the point of contact for assigned ERP projects.
  • Direct customer communication.
  • Upload ISO documents, assign training, and organise records.
  • Create project folders.
  • Responsible for project record retention.
  • Edit drawings to remove proprietary information.
  • Assist in continual improvement projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • GCSEs or A levels.
  • Strong skills in advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good attitude and strong communication skills.
Preferred but not essential
  • Relevant degree (e.g., IT, Computing, Administration, Mechanical Engineering).
  • Knowledge and experience of CRM and ERP systems (D365, etc.).
  • Customer‑facing experience.
