Responsibilities

• Perform month-end reporting of Management and Project Accounts.
• Prepare Group Monthly Cash forecast for the financial year.
• Handle budgeting for sales and year-end accounts.
• Complete quarterly VAT returns.
• Improve project accounting reporting and resolve costing issues.
• Provide labour productivity reports.
• Manage inventory efficiently.

Job description

A well established global manufacturing organisation are looking to recruit a Qualified Cost Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting to an engaging FD this role will be a pivotal role in the finance function and as Cost Accountant, you will work in a team of 34 and specific duties will include :

• Month end reporting of Management and Project Accounts against budget and standard
• Group Monthly Cash forecast for financial year
• Budgeting for Sales, Accounting for Year end and Audit
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Project Accounting reporting improvements & resolve costing issues
• Providing labour productivity reports
• Management of inventory
