Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support staff in the Education and Professional Department (EPDD) with the delivery of Manual Handling (MH) and Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) trainers.

This role will support the annual deliver plan required to support all our patient facing staff with the skills and knowledge to manage MH and PMVA situations, providing appropriate patient care and safe working practices to support the highest standard of care.

The preferred candidate should have experience in delivering MH or PMVA to a large organisation and understand the complexities and challenges this can bring. Working with adult learners in a healthcare or emergency services setting would also be advantageous. Effective communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of group dynamics would also be preferred.

The vacancies are within the North (1xAberdeen, 1x Inverness) and East (2x NHQ) region currently and based with already established education locations. Some travel will also be required across Scotland to assist with staff development and support and Learning in Practice (LiP) being delivered at local stations.
