Role: Senior Consultants/Managing Consultants

Salary: £55,000–£95,000 (higher for technical or specialist profiles)

Location: London, Cheltenham or Manchester

Clearance: Must hold active enhanced DV/UKIC Clearance (no sponsorship or uplift)

Start Date: ASAP

Overview

Searchablity NS & Disseeking Senior Consultants and Managing Consultants across multiple disciplines—including Management Consulting, P3M specialisms, Business Change, and Business Analysis—to deliver critical transformation and delivery programmes across the UK’s National Security community.

Support some of the most complex and high‑impact projects in government.

You’ll operate within secure client environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive digital, data, and organisational change initiatives from inception to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver programmes and projects across the National Security landscape, ensuring outcomes are achieved to time, cost, and quality.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, translating mission requirements into actionable change and delivery plans.
  • Support business change activities, from stakeholder engagement and impact assessment to benefits realisation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead or contribute to delivery planning, risk management, and project controls across complex multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Collaborate with in‑cross‑disciplinary teams—spanning digital, data, and technology—to ensure delivery excellence and mission alignment.
  • Contribute to internal proposition development, capability growth, and knowledge sharing within the consulting practice.
Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Proven experience delivering consulting, P3M, or business change programmes in secure government environments.
  • Strong understanding of project and programme management principles (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders within complex, high‑security settings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insight into actionable recommendations.
  • Must hold active enhanced DV/UKIC clearance.
Desirable
  • Background in digital transformation, data‑led delivery, or technology‑enabled change.
  • Relevant professional certifications (APM, MSP, AgilePM, PROSCI, etc.).
  • Experience working within Central Government/National Security.
  • Prior consultancy or multi‑supplier ecosystem experience.
