Job Description

As a Manager Solutions Delivery, North Region, Lifecycle Services EMEA, you will manage the Solutions Delivery business, including post sales customer support to the Installed Base customers of LCS North Region (UK, Ireland, Nordics /Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland) for the Lifecycle Services (LCS) Segment. The Rockwell Automation Delivery Team in EMEA North has expertise in:

  • Process and Life Sciences

  • Rockwell Automation Life Science Centre of Excellence, Cork, Ireland

  • Chemical

  • Consumer Goods (Consumer Goods Centre, Milton Keynes, UK / Food & Beverage)

  • Automotive

Reporting to the Director, North Region, Lifecycle Services EMEA, this role can be based in either our Cork (Ireland) office or Milton Keynes (UK) office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the North Solutions Delivery team, including Project Management, Engineering, Validation and Secondment to achieve annual revenue, operating earnings, resource use, productivity, customer satisfaction index targets and other goals to achieve the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for LCS

  • Drive EMEA North LCS Solutions P&L, support and implement annual business strategies (BSR) and execution plans with understanding to global and EMEA strategy

  • Work with LCS leadership & Regional Sales leadership to develop LCS Annual Operating Plans for the region, including performance and growth (orders, shipments, growth programs, expenses, CAPEX)

  • Work with commercial & proposal teams in the pursuit of new business, participate in Win Strategy Calls, providing strategic insight and subject matter expertise to the sales organization and other partners

  • Drive delivery Excellence and Quality and providing global Life Science Expertise & guidance to other LCS regions.

  • Deliver great customer experience

  • Provide coaching to team, develop technical, business and leadership competency; develop future leaders and retain top talent

  • Responsible for strategic organization planning, management and development of team including hiring, retention, performance review, coaching and development

  • Responsibility to achieve safety, health and environment metrics through the implementation of policies

  • Collaborate with the EMEA LCS sub-regions and participate in cross regional projects / best practices sharing.

The Essentials - You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, IT or related disciplines.

  • Up to 20% travel

  • 5 years+ experience managing a team in an Engineering environment

  • Legal authorisation to work in the UK and Ireland /EU.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have
  • Project Management experience

  • 10+ years projects delivery experience in the Life Sciences sector with experience in the bio-pharma sector

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation PlantPAx

  • Experience with GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, ASTM E2500, GMP, etc.

  • Experience supporting Commissioning & Qualification activities.

  • Experience in Project Risk Management Implementation
