A global education technology company in City of Westminster seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead two engineering teams. We are looking for a self-sufficient, highly motivated Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead and maintain two products within the Turnitin Integrity portfolio. This is a leadership role that requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong people management abilities. You will work closely with Product Managers, Customer Success teams, and other Engineering teams across the globe, ensuring seamless collaboration. You must be skilled at prioritization, problem-solving, and context switching, as your time will be distributed across multiple projects. One team is responsible for a product in maintenance mode with a focus on optimization, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The secondary team is in a growth phase. This is a people-first leadership role, where you will manage individual contributors (ICs), provide feedback, mentor, coach, and support career development. The ideal candidate is technically proficient and an empathetic, influential leader who fosters a positive and high-performing engineering culture.
