Job Purpose

Provide end‑to‑end leadership across safety capabilities: program assurance, our incident management system and analytics, and incident classification, investigation, and regulatory reporting (i.e. OSHA) to ensure effective programs, reliable and actionable data, and investigations that drive effective learning. Lead a team that manages daily OSHA incident data, industry benchmarking, PowerBI dashboards, trend reporting, and annual target‑setting. Drive data quality and continuous improvement by optimizing classification, tracking/trending, and reporting processes, and maintain accurate OSHA recordkeeping.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage the transition to a new incident management platform on behalf of the New England Business. Stand up change management and post‑go‑live maintenance plans (i.e. triage process, adoption tracking) and oversee the recreation of Safety PowerBI dashboards.
  • Manage the team to ensure quality and consistency in incident data. Ensure consistent triage and classification from the start of the incident through to closure; ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of data and KPIs to regulatory authorities; maintain compliance with OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
  • Manage the team to review and analyze incident information; identify trends and key drivers to initiate or supplement Safety Program initiatives.
  • Manage benchmarking to external organizations and analyze benchmarking results. Coordinate submissions and comparisons to EEI and AGA network.
  • Manage the team to conduct assurance & governance over safety systems; provide recommendations and implement efficiencies in programs and processes.
  • Work closely and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Partner with BU safety peers, Field Safety, IT, and other key stakeholders to align workflows, system integrations, and oversee change management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Data Analytics, or related area(s)
  • Experience with incident management systems, PowerBI, and safety data governance
  • Knowledge of OSHA reporting requirements and external benchmarking processes.
  • Proficient in leading a team to drive accurate data analysis and visualization skills
  • Strong communication, writing, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
