Manager, Investigations and Disputes

A global investigations firm is seeking a Manager or Associate Director to join its Investigations and Disputes practice in London. The team specialises in complex dispute-support matters, working closely with legal counsel on arbitration, litigation, asset tracing, and internal investigations.

The role suits an experienced investigations professional capable of independently leading matters, managing client relationships, and supervising delivery teams on high-stakes, time-sensitive assignments.

The Role
  • Lead and manage multiple complex dispute-support investigations concurrently
  • Deliver arbitration and litigation-support assignments, including asset tracing and internal investigations
  • Engage and develop human sources, contributing to the firm’s global source network
  • Produce client-ready written work requiring minimal supervision or revision
  • Provide quality control and oversight of work produced by junior team members
  • Act as a primary client contact during the lifecycle of engagements, including briefings and reporting
  • Manage project budgets and oversee the financial execution of assignments
  • Scope, draft, and price proposals, and support business development efforts in disputes-related work
  • Mentor and develop junior team members within the investigations practice
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in dispute-support investigations
  • Strong understanding of legal strategy and the role of investigations across different stages of disputes
  • Proven experience managing investigations end-to‑end, with sound professional judgement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse and present complex commercial issues clearly
  • High levels of commercial awareness and comfort operating in client-facing roles
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilitySelf‑motivated, with the ability to deliver high-quality work with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated interest in international arbitration and litigation developments

Additional language skills and experience managing people are advantageous.
