Job description
Overview

Current Global is a global communications agency that puts humanity at the heart of everything we do. We describe ourselves as the human-first agency and work to help clients connect with real, human brands.

We are part of IPG and The Weber Shandwick Collective, with offices in Asia, Europe, MENAT, North and South America. Our client roster includes technology, fashion, digital, healthcare, and medtech brands. We combine the scale of a global network with the agility of a boutique client experience.

Our vision focuses on being the kind of agency that top talent want to work for, not on being the biggest or fastest. We’ve built a diverse, international team in London, with members from the US, Europe, the Middle East & Asia, including professionals from varied backgrounds who contribute new skills and perspectives. We are committed to accessible by design and aim to pull the PR industry in a more inclusive direction.

We are based in London, with an exciting office in Liverpool Street featuring a roof terrace and modern facilities. We welcome flexible working arrangements where possible.

Role

To support our continued growth, our B2B / Tech team is looking for a Manager who is keen to develop communication skills across media relations, social media, writing and client service. The work is international in flavour, with multinational campaigns and collaboration across teams and clients around the world.

What you will gain from the role:

  • Opportunity to advance skills on international campaigns as part of a small, non-hierarchical team
  • Exposure to some of the world’s most exciting brands
  • Access to resources of a top global networked agency while operating in an entrepreneurial environment with room to develop and advance

You will collaborate daily with our Global Technology Lead in the London office. Our work targets mainstream business audiences and covers topics such as GenAI’s workplace impact, corporate sustainability responsibilities, and data’s role in new revenue models. We encourage cross-practice work across consumer, healthcare and other teams, within one cohesive unit.

You will be supported by a team that values excellence, has a strong work ethic, and a sense of humor. If this sounds like you, it will likely be a fit.

Responsibilities
  • Help drive the media relations campaign for a global telco player
  • Support social and digital marketing efforts for a global team in the world’s largest, most innovative company
  • Provide social media / executive communications support for a multinational industrial firm
Who are you
  • Very strong writing skills and a love for writing
  • Some media relations experience with mainstream business press
  • Social media skills, especially in support of executives / LinkedIn
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, honest, collaborative with a strong sense of ownership
  • Love of learning
Even better if you have
  • Experience working with large multinational clients
