Overview
Serco are recruiting for a Management Systems Co-ordinator to join the team based at HMNB Portsmouth. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Marine Services non-financial management systems. This role will report into the Head of Asset Management but will be expected to liaise with all levels of the business from afloat staff to director level, develop and maintain integrated reporting tools for Marine Service to monitor business critical non-commercial KPI's.
Responsibilities
- Continued Management and Development of Maritime Services SharePoint environment, migration, amalgamation and rationalisation of data from shared drives to as common an environment as individual contract will allow.
- Document control including processing document change requests, issuing change notices and monitoring responses and upkeep of the periodic review cycle.
- Testing and failure analysis of IMS procedures for resilience and closed loop positive reporting. Advising document owners of identified weaknesses for review. Maintain integrity of procedure cross references.
- Management of regulatory critical outputs from the system ensuring storage and delivery in line with process.
- Maintenance of access to external Serco group data necessary for audit of business unit. Monitoring of outputs from divisional unit is complaint with regulation.
- Administration of the Maritime Services Risk registers including Joint customer risk register using the Serco risk management system.
- This role can be based at any of our sites ranging from HMNB Portsmouth, HMNB Plymouth, HMNB Clyde, HMNB Kyle of Lochalsh on a hybrid basis.
What you'll need to do the role
- Must be able to obtain SC clearance.
- Previous administration experience.
- Previous experience of SharePoint administration.
- Previous experience of audit related activity.
- Understanding working within a regulated environment.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft 365 suite specifically SharePoint, Word and Excel.
- Good communication skills and able to influence effectively at all levels.
