Join a growing finance function within a highly innovative, international engineering business. This role will see you working closely with senior leadership, managing a small finance team, and taking ownership of the monthly management accounts process.

This is a hands-on position - ideal for a Management Accountant with strong manufacturing experience who enjoys improving processes, coaching others, and contributing to the overall success of the finance function.

Responsibilities
  • Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and adjustments
  • Reviewing and approving payment runs
  • Monitoring and forecasting company cash flow
  • Overseeing VAT returns, regulatory submissions, and the fixed asset register
  • Managing and developing a small purchase ledger and invoicing team
  • Leading preparation for year-end audits
  • Providing financial insight to support business decision-making
Qualifications
  • Part-qualified, fully qualified, or QBE with solid hands-on accounting experience
  • Manufacturing experience (essential) and strong systems knowledge
  • Team management experience with the ability to coach and develop others
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • A proactive, inquisitive mindset with confidence to suggest process improvements
