Specialist Group are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the team. This role will provide financial analysis and support for the Company’s manufacturing operations. The Management Accountant will be responsible for budgeting, cost analysis, performance tracking, and providing actionable insights to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities to reduce production costs while maintaining product quality.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing support to various departments in cost control.
  • Analyse manufacturing data, including material costs, labour costs, and overheads, and provide actionable recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide monthly reporting on key financial metrics and work with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate product costing for manufacturing processes, including direct and indirect costs.
  • Work with department heads to analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in inventory management and ensure accurate inventory valuations.
  • Assist in completion of various monthly returns
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of strong internal controls and conduct internal audits as required
Essential Skills
