Overview

FCM Europe Management Accountant is a dedicated resource for the European business of FCM, reporting to the FCM EU Finance Manager. The core focus of the role is to support the local finance resources in Europe to produce monthly results that are accurate and aligned to the group standards, and to assist with consolidating and reporting these results locally and to the head office. Success in this involves actively questioning and understanding the numbers and being able to explain what is driving them. Outside of month-end, this role encompasses helping to develop and review financial controls for the region, managing and forecasting cash resources, and undertaking various ad hoc tasks and projects to help drive and improve our financial processes and business performance. This is a varied role with opportunity to gain exposure to different markets and parts of the FCM business and to develop an understanding of the commercial model, providing a suitable stepping stone for progression.

About you
  • Relevant degree, and partial completion of relevant accounting body (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent); those with extensive relevant experience will also be considered
  • Minimum of one year Management Accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills, good awareness of BI / data; experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be a bonus
  • Demonstrable experience in process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; European language skills a bonus
  • Flexible, pragmatic, calm under pressure
