Qualifications

• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) required.
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU VAT regulations, including RCT (Ireland).
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills needed.
• Detail-oriented and proactive mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Lead internal reviews and support external audits.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and duty declarations.

Your Mission at Ascom

Management Accounting & Control

• Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Ascom’s internal controls
• Lead internal reviews and support external audits
• Manage cash flow and working capital with a focus on optimisation
• Oversee tax compliance in the UK and Ireland

Collaboration

• Coach and develop a finance team
• Collaborate with internal departments, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Champion continuous improvement and financial transparency

Project Accounting

• Partner with Project Managers to align financials with delivery milestones
• Provide insight across the full project lifecycle

UK & Ireland Compliance

• Prepare and submit VAT returns, import duty declarations, Intrastat, and EC Sales Lists
