Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts, profit/loss statements and balance sheets
• Presenting monthly financial performance and insights to Directors
• Preparation of annual accounts to submit to the Finance Director and General Manager
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, complete quarterly VAT returns
• Analyse the company’s financial performance (budgets and forecasts)
• Reviewing finance processes and controls and ensuring consistent documentation

Qualifications

• Experience as a Management Accountant
• AAT qualification is essential, CIMA/ACCA would be advantageous
• Strong experience using Sage, ERP or similar accountancy systems
• VAT and PAYE experience is essential, and CIS/Intrastat would be beneficial
• Great knowledge of Excel with excellent bookkeeping skills
• A positive, proactive, trustworthy person with a high attention to detail
