A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a skilled practitioner for their Radiology Department. The role involves performing clinical mammographic procedures and contributing to the efficient operation of the mammography service. Candidates must possess experience in NHS hospitals and symptomatic breast clinics. A commitment to quality care and a strong understanding of QA procedures in mammography is essential. This position is permanent with full-time and part-time options available, with a salary range of £38,682 to £46,580 annually.
To work effectively as a highly skilled, qualified practitioner as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the detection of breast cancer within the symptomatic breast service.
1. To assist the organisation in the efficient operation of the mammography service.
2. To undertake clinical mammographic procedures as an autonomous and highly skilled practitioner, professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of their professional and clinical work.
3. To be highly involved during interventional radiological procedures i.e. Stereotactic core biopsies and mammographic guided localisations using highly specialised digital equipment.
