The CJP are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Support Worker to care for two brothers in Brighouse, each with unique medical needs. Join us in making a profound impact on their lives while working between the two brothers and supporting them separately.
Provide personalised care and support to an adult male with complex medical conditions, including limited mobility, diabetes type 1, epilepsy, and challenging behaviour. Duties include assisting with personal care, managing medical needs such as diabetes monitoring and epilepsy episodes, assisting with mobility, administering nutrition through PEG feeding, and providing emotional support. Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for the individual's complex needs.
Previous experience in healthcare, familiarity with the mentioned medical conditions, and exceptional communication skills. Experience in healthcare, understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviours, as well as a compassionate approach to care are all desired.
